  • 1 pound (454 grams) strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 (8-ounce / 226 gram) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • Dash vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 (3-ounce / 85 gram) package ladyfingers, broken into pieces
  • 1 pint (551 ml) blueberries
  • 6 small glasses or jars

Instructions

  1. Combine the sliced strawberries and granulated sugar in a small bowl. Set aside for about 10 minutes.
  2. Beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar in a stand mixer or with a hand mixer until smooth.
  3. Add the milk and vanilla extract to the cream cheese mixture, mixing well.
  4. In each glass or jar, add a layer of broken ladyfingers followed by a dollop of the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Cover this layer with the sugar-coated strawberries.
  6. Repeat the layers with more ladyfingers and cream cheese mixture.
  7. Top off the trifles with blueberries.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Consider making them a day in advance for enhanced tastes.
