A delightful no-bake dessert that combines sweet strawberries, creamy filling, and a crunchy pretzel crust, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 0.75 cup butter, melted
  • 3 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 (8-ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 2 (3-ounce) packages strawberry-flavored Jell-O®
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 (10-ounce) packages frozen strawberries

Instructions

  1. Gather all the ingredients and preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Stir together the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and 3 tablespoons of sugar until well combined. Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for about 8 to 10 minutes or until set. Set the crust aside to cool.
  4. Combine the softened cream cheese and 1 cup of sugar in a large bowl. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth, then fold in the thawed whipped topping. Spread this mixture over the cooled pretzel crust.
  5. Dissolve the gelatin in the boiling water. Stir in the still-frozen strawberries and let it set briefly. Then pour and spread the gelatin mixture over the cream cheese layer.
  6. Refrigerate the dish until it is set, which takes at least 2 hours.
  7. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Ensure cream cheese is softened for easy blending. Let the gelatin cool slightly before pouring over the cream cheese layer.
